We are very excited to present our second "Over The Moon Valentine's Dance" on Sunday Feb. 15th as a way to raise funds for The East Penn Food Coalition Food Packing Program.
This event is a unique way to engage with the community through a family friendly, fun loving format. I do hope you plan to attend.
Our January 8th Speaker Krishna Nemani, the winner of the EHS 4-way test speech competition, presented his speech to our club. His impassioned description of the importance of being fair and remembering that "kindness shapes you just as much as it shapes the person who receives it" was a great application of our test. Best wishes to Krishna as he proceeds to the next round. He will be great!
ERC Super Bowl LX Pool You can purchase one square for $50 and if your square matches one of the end of quarter scores or end of game score you will win! All proceeds will be used to keep our food program going.
Check: payable to ERC Foundation. Checks can be mailed to Embassy Bank, c/o Gary Guthrie, 180 W. Main St, Macungie, PA 18062.
Email g.guthrieerc@gmail.comwhen you send payment with your name, email address, and number of squares purchased, so that we know to add you to the board.

Meeting at Chestnut Ridge at Rodale
JAN 29, FEB 5 and Feb 12 We are so excited to announce that Chestnut Ridge at Rodale will be hosting our meetings for three weeks when Brookside is closed. Chestnut Ridge will provide hot and cold breakfast items, complementary in their lovely facility. This is a great opportunity for us to pass on their generosity by decreasing the cost of breakfast while also raising money. We highly recommend a $15 (or more donation) for breakfast.
Also, look out for new-comers those weeks. Chestnut Ridge will invite 10 to 15 of their residents to the meeting.
January 29: A representative of Phoebe will be our speaker and donations will go towards Camp Neidig and STEM YEA
February 5: Our speaker will be Chris Kocher from Wildlands Conservancy and donations will go towards our EHS Scholarship fund
February 12: Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum will speak and funds will go to the Rotary International Foundation
Weather Policy
Our current weather policy is to cancel our meeting whenever East Penn has a weather cancellation or whenever there is a 2-hour weather delay. EPSD's process for determining safety is robust, beginning the night before when they consult with Accuweather, PennDot, and other officials.
