Yes, I’m being redundant, repetitive, consistent, and maybe even annoying but we have wonderful service opportunities over the next few weeks and I want everyone involved in something. If you truly believe that Service Above Self is more than just a saying then click on one of these links, sign-up and show up to help. And, if you’re really feeling very Rotarianish [?] pull up the CR app and call someone you haven’t seen at a meeting or helping out and get him or her out for some fresh air and service.
Also, it’s Mother’s Day weekend so do some service for mom as well!
Remember….Go Forth and Do Good is a nice saying but it’s only meaningful if we actually do it!
Look at what your fellow Rotarians did this past weekend!
Thank you to all that came and helped on a very rainy Saturday morning - 20 planters were filled with soil and flowers throughout the town. Beth Sharpless from Emmaus asked for help with this task and Emmaus Rotarians supplied the manpower.
Thank you to Eric Loch, Mike Wadell, Bill Erdman, Courtney Kennedy, Eileen Prokop, Emma Ombima and Karen Hobson, Diane, Tony, and Beth her husband and daughter Nadia who is in Interact did a huge effort also.

We were presented with an awesome program to help new businesses and existing ones through Rotary. Derrick outlined how the program works and the obstacles faced and conquered by new start-ups. Rick Zayaitz and Mario Cozubbo are working from our Club to move this program forward.
Now is time to renew for 2022. The price is the same as last year, only $49.00 for the year. This will include having our great Flag put on your property 6 times this year starting with Memorial Day.
I will be set up to take payments this week at Rotary. I can take credit cards or your check.
Emmaus Rotarians truly do live a lifestyle of Service Above Self!
Many of us help with other organizations to raise funds for great causes. If you wish to mention your outside fund raising event at Rotary, just put up four Happy Dollars and let us know about what is going on. If I have a website link to your cause I will post it here.

Can Tabs For The Miracle League LV / Submitted By Bob Halsey
In 2018 We started collecting the Tabs from all types of cans Soda, Beer, Seltzer, Tuna Fish, Sardines, Soup Cans, Etc. In 2018 we were able to deliver Five Full One Gallon Jugs of Tabs…Last year, 2019 we were able to deliver Three Full One Gallon Jugs of Tabs. So far this year 2020 we now have One Full One Gallon Jugs. I would hope we can again this year, 2020, can fill at least another Five Full One Gallon Jug OR MORE. I turn these into the Miracle League in the Middle of October, right before Halloween. They turn them into the Dupont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington Delaware. Other organizations also collect these Tabs, in total the Hospital has been able sell these for enough Money to pay 75% of the Utilities Cost in their Ronald House, where Families to stay at a very Nominal Cost when their Handicapped Children need to go for Treatment. You can bring Tabs every Thursday to our regular Breakfast Meetings.
