Shiloh Sidor has over 13 years of experience in public education, where they served in multiple departments and worked closely with a diverse student population, including neurodiverse students and those requiring special accommodations. Shiloh is well-versed in Trauma-Informed Care and Social Emotional Learning, and they’ve facilitated multiple student clubs throughout their career. Outside the classroom, Shiloh is a dedicated volunteer with the Eastern Pennsylvania Trans Equity Project, and is one of the primary facilitators of the Beyond the Binary support group through the Lehigh Valley Trans Renaissance. Currently, Shiloh serves as the Coordinator of Volunteers at Lehigh Carbon Community College, where they lead efforts to recruit, train, and support volunteer tutors. These volunteers work with adults in the community who are learning English or preparing for their GEDs—at no cost to the students. Shiloh will be sharing insights into this impactful program and how it’s changing lives through literacy and learning. |

Please be in the park and registered before the recycle truck comes in - the traffic line for this event can be lengthly. You can dispose of your own recycle items on the recycle truck, please see Emmaus Borough website. There are several SAFE areas around Emmaus that you, or your group, could be selected to work - Gloves, vests and bags will be provided. Libraries are no longer just quiet spaces filled with books—they have transformed into dynamic community hubs that provide technology access, educational programs, and resources for all ages. Debbie will discuss how libraries are adapting to meet the changing needs of their communities. She will also highlight the many services available at Lower Macungie Library, including resources designed to support personal and professional growth. We’ll discover new ways the library can enrich our lives and strengthen our community. |
