On Thursday, December 12, 2019, Emmaus Rotary got its' "Holiday On" with the able assistance of the Fellowship Committee. After the regular business meeting, Ashley Lorah and Meghan Reed challenged Rotarians present to write Christmas cards and decorate gingerbread houses. The cards will be mailed by the Fellowship Committee and the gingerbread houses went to Willow Elementary School for the students to enjoy and judge!
There are photos of all the houses on our website's photo gallery. And, if you watch the last 10 minutes of the UTube video posted for that day, you will see a narrated survey of all the tables at work. The photo below is an example of a "hot mess" design! It is posted here so that you may note it includes signage. The back of the house has "Rotary" in green. In the New Year, let us all think of new ways to let others know about the good work of Rotary around the globe.
The winning table's design will be announced this Thursday.
