President's Message - September 6, 2016

Hopefully everyone was able to enjoy their Labor Day long weekend.  Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.  It was first celebrated in 1882 and slowly caught on as a national, holiday from there.

 

Rotarians, thank you for your efforts to serve humanity in so many different ways.  I encourage you to please make one last push for our golf tournament that is coming up this Monday.  Raffle tickets and sponsorships can still be purchased at ercgolf.com.  Consider posting the information to your LinkedIn or Facebook.  If you are golfing, helping, or attending the happy hour after the event, we look forward to a wonderful day!
