Okay, I’ve harped on service opportunities over the past few weeks and thanks to all the members who responded and followed our motto “Service Above Self”. As a club we provided almost 100 community service hours by working at the Kalmbach Estate, Triangle planters rejuvenation, Remembrance Garden cleanup, Seed Farm plant sale, LM Community Day, and the Borough Earth Day Cleanup! As your President, I am incredibly proud of what was done not just over the past few weeks but also during this past Rotary year. I keep a log of the service hours which I’ll tell you more about when we wrap up the year and have our club celebration on June 16.
Also, service opportunities sometimes have unintended happy consequences like having your picture taken with a real Princess!

In the meantime, remember….Go Forth and Do Good is a nice saying but it’s only meaningful if we actually do it!
