KICKING OFF OUR NEW ROTARY YEAR

Thursday, July 9 was Valerie's first meeting as club president. We had a whopping 50 people in attendance as community members, guests and potential members joined us. Val worked hard to make it a meaningful event. The word on the street is that the meeting was a great way to start of the year, with energy, new faces and fellowship.

J.P. led the meeting and swore in our new leadership (photo courtesy of Lisa Draper of the East Penn Press).

Our upcoming fellowship event, Friday July 24, is a simple time to gather. Reservations are not needed as the venue doesn't require them and we want to encourage people to show up last minute, buy a glass of wine and just enjoy the evening.
Note that the kickoff of Emmaus' 250 celebration starts that evening at 5:00 at the library (the gateway) so you can check that out before heading over the hill to Stone Farm Cellars (not far away)!

Turn your clutter into a cause! The box you've been meaning to clean out could make a difference. Donate your gently used items to help raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem, PA. See the graphic above for more info.
