President's Message

Greetings everyone!

I thought Jerry’s presentation last week was very timely, since internet phishing scams are on the rise. I’m always disheartened to read about seniors taken by these scammers. If you have older friends, please help them avoid these scammers. Tell them to never give their personal information over the internet. If you want to contact jerry his contact info is JSmith@KatanaNetworks.com.

It was fabulous to see two new guests today. J.P. and Valerie chatted with them about joining and I think it looks good. Both gentlemen want to give back to their communities. Our presenter might consider joining as well. Speaking of guests, when is the last time you chatted with someone about Rotary and discuss our Club? An old marketing term called TOMA is still important for us as Rotarians today. “Top of Mind Awareness”. Would love to see new guests and members which brings our Club new energy and ideas.

May is Rotary’s Youth Service Month. Let’s think of ways we can “engage” more of our talented young folks to “engage” with Rotary to do good around the world. One of the best ways is to encourage them to get
involved in Interact and as our Seniors are soon departing off to college, to check out Rotaract.

See ya Thursday!

The Prez.
