Thank you, Meghan, for a great job standing in for me last week and to Sal and all who set AV up for Murtaza.

It is still hard to believe that my year is almost over, and this will be my last weekly Prez. message and
weekly meeting to run. I have no idea where the time went, and I thank everyone who helped me this past
Rotary year.

We’ll now shift our attention to Nelly’s year, which promises to be a lot of fun since it our clubs 100th anniversary and our Nation’s 250 th birthday. Nelly’s first meeting will be July 9th since we won’t have a meeting on July 3rd.

This week marks our return to Brookside Country Club, so mention this to all your Rotary friends who have
not joined us in a while. Remember it will be a continental breakfast and the fee is $20.00.

We have our monthly Board meeting right after the regular meeting. If you have any thoughts or concerns, please plan on attending.

See ya Thursday morning,
The Prez.

P.S. Remember it’s raffle ticket season, so remember to use Valerie’s handy packet on how to sell a million
raffle tickets by October.

A Message from our 2025 Wilmer Shultz Memorial Scholarship Recipient, Amanda King

Dear Rotarians,

It has been an honor to work with you to better the community. I have learned so much from each experience and every interaction. Interact Club has been the highlight of my high school career and has made me the best version of myeslf. I will be attending DeSales University to pursue a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Nursing. I am thrilled to start this new chapter and build upon the skills and knowledge I obtained in high school. Thank you for your kindness and contribution.

Sincerely,

Amanda King
