President's Message
We had a very good speaker last week talking about surveys and the need to be more social and welcome other folks opinions even though you don’t have to agree with them. This ties in nicely with Rotary’s February message about Peace Building and Conflict resolution month.
Let’s do our part to help with these causes locally and globally. He is a nationally recognized authority on putting surveys together. Sorry if you missed this great presentation.
A huge thank you to the small army on Friday that moved nearly 15,000lbs. of food from Weis markets in Emmaus to Faith Presbyterian Church in Emmaus.
They are: Cindy, Don, Kwinn, Joanne, Ceil, Diane, Courtney, Mr. Lucky Bob, our new member Cynthia and her husband Mike, wine connoisseur Joe and master truck driver Alan.
Meghan’s Dance was a ton of fun and raised additional $3000.00+ for our Food Program. This helps a bunch since as Cindy said last week we are out of money for our food program. Thanks to Meghan and her
Team for a fun successful event.
There is a special birthday this week on the 23rd. $2,000,000.00 for each person that knows the answer.
Thursday will be a Board Meeting after our regular meeting and all are welcome.
Bring on the plastic! We are very close to reaching our 1000 lb. target for Meghan’s bench. This is great that as a Club we have removed so much material out of the landfills. We only need less than 150 pounds by April 1st.
See ya Thursday
The Prez.
P.S. I know lots of us travel and miss meetings, but you can always check in with us on Zoom while sipping your morning coffee, tea, orange juice, or favorite adult beverage depending on your time zone!
