President's Message

Greetings everyone!

It was great to see everyone so engaged in our discussions last week about the festival, and asking great questions. I know a bunch of you have worked on large events in the past and your wisdom is greatly appreciated, so that we are not re-inventing the wheel all the time. So please keep the ideas coming and watch for the constant stream of updates and requests for help and volunteers. Thinking of volunteers, whomever has connections with scouting groups, this would be great to
help with parking. Mike Waddell, Gary Guthrie and I reviewed parking this past Friday and have it under control but will need a bunch of volunteers to make sure all our guests will know where to park. We’ll have vests, cones and traffic wands to assist with parking at Community Park.

Please think about the best way you can assist that day or ahead of time. We will have opportunities for folks that can only help for an hour or two or have difficulty standing for long periods.

If you have not been
very active lately with Rotary, this will be a perfect time to help. We will need an army of people to make this event a huge success.

See ya Thursday!

The Prez.
