With our help our high school students and Angel Network made a lot of families happy.
THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our December 2022 food basket/holiday gift program a success!!
Last week we gave out 151 food baskets full of pantry items, personal care items, laundry detergent, apples and carrots. Over 180 students received holiday gift cards. Many students received clothing purchased specifically for them and the families were able to shop for clothing, bedding, towels, and extra food.
Over 40 school and community groups as well as hundreds of individual donors collected items, gift cards and donations. So many hours of time were graciously given. Student volunteers packed the baskets on Tuesday (picture below).
It takes all of us to make this work. The families were so grateful for the support (sometimes to the point of tears).
Thank you for making the holidays a bit brighter and a little easier for our East Penn families!!!
Happy Holidays and Warm Wishes for a Healthy Happy 2023!!
