The Emmaus Rotary would like to spotlight one of our newest member Eileen Teyim. The following transcript is from Eileen herself (except for my comments in red):
Dr. Eileen Teyim, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Nurse practitioner and is a graduate of DeSales University, Center Valley, PA. She completed her DNP in Nursing with an emphasis on Gerontology and Dementia. (WOW!)
She has worked inpatient psychiatry for many years and has extensive experience working with children, adults and elderly. She has worked in telepsychiatry with rural nursing homes, outpatient and mobile psychiatry. She strives to provide culturally informed, and patient centered care tailored to each individual and values the meaningful connections made with her patients.
She is dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. (Again WOW!) This allows her to treat each patient with a holistic approach. Her goal is to provide a personalized psychiatric medication management experience for every patient at Meribah Clinic.
Eileen has extensive experience in dealing with diagnosis such as ADHD, ODD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Insomnia, Dementia. Her patients range from 4 years to 100 years old and their services are tailored to meet the need of the individual client, families and to educate the community.
Her company offers same day evaluation and medication management of psychiatric diagnosis and they are a center to Spravato treatment which is FDA approved for treatment resistant depression. They provide Genesite services to interested patients.
