“The legacy of heroes is the memory of a great name and the inheritance of a great example.”
Service Above Self is a great motto but it’s always more meaningful when you see it put into action like it was this past Sunday at Gio’s at the 2nd Annual Bags and Beef event. 30 teams throwing bags in 90+ degrees heat, humidity that could have been distilled to make more beverages, cheers for great throws, good conversation, spectators who could have stayed home in their AC, and money raised to support the food distribution program. Many, many thanks to the Bags and Beef committee who worked so hard to make this event happen again for families that they/we will probably never meet but know in our collective hearts are benefiting from our Service Above Self…you certainly put the Fun into Fundraising again!
