Last Thursday, our Emmaus Rotary Club helped launch the final video version of the Valley Health Partners Street Medicine Team at their weekly membership meeting. This video was sponsored by Emmaus Rotary Club and produced by Alan Sylvestre Media.

Along with showing the 5-minute video, we also presented a check to Seth Campbell, MSPAS PA-C who serves as the representative for the Street Medicine team.

Our President, Meghan Reed, states “Last year the Valley Partners Street Medicine Team spoke at a Rotary Meeting. The talk left our group moved to help spread the word about the work they are doing to help homeless people with all sorts of health care issues from basic first aid to mental health, and even expecting Mothers.  Two of Rotary's ‘7 Areas of Focus’ are Disease Prevention and Treatment, and Maternal and Child Health.  Their mission clearly aligns with those areas of focus. We think that after you learn more about this selfless group of Health Professionals you will also feel compelled to help.”

The mission of the Street Medicine team is to partner with the people of our community to achieve health and wellness through the delivery of extraordinary care that is compassionate, accessible and affordable in a family-centered and culturally sensitive environment.
